Our Quality Process
A Quality Framework You Can Rely On
Structured inspection and approval processes help establish quality at the start of a project and maintain it through production.

Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
For critical components and high-value applications, PPAP provides a structured validation process before full production, supporting repeatability, specification compliance and controlled manufacture.

First Article Inspection Report (FAIR)
The first component can be inspected and measured against drawing and specification requirements, helping confirm dimensional accuracy before production continues.

Initial Sample Inspection Report (ISIR)
Detailed inspection results for sample components help confirm dimensional accuracy and compliance before repeat manufacture proceeds.

Certificate of Conformity (COFC)
Where required, supplied components can be supported by conformity documentation confirming manufacture against the agreed specification and customer requirements.

Precision Engineering Built Around Quality
At Turnell & Odell, precision engineering is more than what we do — it is who we are. Every component we manufacture is supported by robust quality systems designed to give customers confidence in performance, consistency and traceability.
Our reputation is built on manufacturing you can trust, supported by controlled inspection, documentation and proven quality practices throughout production.
ISO 9001:2015
Quality management certification supporting controlled and repeatable manufacturing.
0.01mm
Precision capability for applications requiring demanding dimensional accuracy.
Full Traceability
Material, inspection and production records supporting complete manufacturing visibility.
Full Material Traceability
From raw material to finished component, batch information, certificates and processing records can be maintained where required to support material identity and manufacturing traceability.
In-Process Inspection Reporting
Inspection can take place throughout manufacture rather than only at final inspection, helping control variation and verify critical dimensions as work progresses.
Quality Plans
For complex or regulated projects, quality plans can define inspection stages, control methods, documentation requirements and validation criteria before manufacture begins.
