Engineering Estimator / Planning Engineer

Join our highly skilled engineers working in a long established precision engineering company and lead our estimating team into 2018! Bring your skills in CNC machining, engineering estimating, sales and IT to help us deliver a large and growing order book. While knowledge of Edge-Cam and Solid works would be useful, we are willing to invest in developing self -motivated candidates with good decision-making skills, ability to work in a team, a confident personality and who enjoy dealing with customers.
This role would not only suit an experienced sales/estimating engineer but also someone who may be currently working on the tools who wishes to progress their career and move into an office based role.

CNC Turning & Milling Positions

CNC TURNING - 1 Position available

T&O are currently seeking a good CNC Turner with programming experience to work as part of a small and friendly team working double day shifts (6am-2pm 2pm-10pm)

Ideally you would have Cad-Cam experience as some programs are created offline via Edgecam, however training will be given for the right candidate.

We currently have a range of Lathes (to include C axis) all with Fanuc controls, and most having ‘Manual Guide’. These range in size from 6” chuck/collet machines up to 12” chucks.

In return for the demands made upon you we would offer a very competitive salary, along with 33 days holiday, pension contribution and sick club scheme.

 

CNC MILLING - 1 Position available

T&O are currently seeking 3 good CNC Miller’s with programming experience to work as part of a small and friendly team working double day shifts (6am-2pm 2pm-10pm)

Ideally you would have Cad-Cam experience as most programs are created offline via Edgecam, however training will be given for the right candidate.

We currently have a range of Verticals (up to 5 Axis) with Haas, Fanuc and Heidenhain controls.
