Following on from Tuesday’s Jobs Map Launch at Westminster
(Left to Right) - Clive Odell - Managing Director at Turnell and Odell, Mark Keddie - Quality Systems Manager at Turnell and Odell, Peter Bone - MP for Wellingborough.
Peter Bone, Conservative MP for Wellingborough, today visited the Wellingborough works of Turnell and Odell.
Peter was able to see first-hand the changes and investment that have taken place at T&O culminating earlier this year in achieving the prestigious F4N accreditation. This is a benchmark as to how T&O operate and our ability to supply into the Nuclear Industry.
This is particularly important at this moment in time, as although T&O supply the Nuclear Decommissioning side we are keen to supply more to the New Build Sector and the recent announcement about the confirmation to build Hinckley C is great news for British Engineering.
T&O and the Crompton Group of Companies have high expectations for business in all aspects of Nuclear and we are delighted to receive the support of Peter which will undoubtedly mean more jobs will be created. Peter, himself from an Engineering background, took the time to meet with many of the T&O team and was impressed by their enthusiasm and the clear interest in what we are doing. It is rewarding to receive such acknowledgement and support from our politicians as we are all working hard to boost our UK manufacturing Industry.
